James “Jim” Earl Lupardus, Jr.

James “Jim” Earl Lupardus, Jr., 54, of Callahan, Fla. went home to be with the Lord Dec. 17, 2018.

James was born Nov. 24, 1964 in Ripley W. Va. to James Lupardus, Sr. and Barbara Jones Moore. He was a member of the Harley Davidson Owner Group “HOG” and Teamsters Local 947. He started mowing lawns at the age of 14, where he saved his money to buy his first motorcycle. He moved to Moorehead, N.C. in 1974, where he worked at the Sanitary Fish Market and Rose’s. He graduated from West Cartaret High School in Moorehead City and graduated from Cartaret Technical College in 1984, earning a degree in welding and marine diesel mechanics. 

He moved to Jacksonville, Fla. in 1984, where he worked for Cargill, BE&K and Anheuser Busch. His true passions in life were his three kids, fishing, camping and riding his Harley. He was an amazing son, brother and father and always put his children first.

He is survived by his children, Bobbi Jean Lupardus, James Earl Lupardus III and Shayna Leanne Lupardus; mother, Barbara Jones Moore; sister, Annette (Jim) Newman; brothers, Eric (Kathy) Carpenter, Mike Carpenter and Shane Lupardus; five nieces and seven nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Earl Lupardus, Sr. and grandparents, Herbert and Berdeihl Jones and Opal and Earl Lupardus.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 in the Nassau Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 11 a.m. Condolences may be expressed by signing the guestbook at www.nassaufh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 U.S. 1, Callahan, FL 32011, 904-879-1770.
